Drupal, Content Management System (CMS)

Confluence provides expert assistance in the creation of websites using the open source Content Management System, Drupal. From our perspective, the decision of whether to use Joomla! or Drupal depends on a variety of factors, such as:

• Existing familiarity with one system or another
• Specific functional requirements
• Other systems that the CMS needs to integrate with

Clients / Sample Projects

Confluence has implemented lots of Drupal sites, large and small. Here are a few of them.

• For the MD & DC Credit Union Association, we upgraded the aging CiviCRM installation, replacing the existing Expression Engine CMS with Drupal for trouble-free single-sign on, recommending, designing and implementing enhancements to increase the efficiency of business processing.
• For the WateReuse Association, we upgraded the aging CiviCRM and Drupal environment to current versions, including significant new extensions and added functionality.
• For the ACEEE, Confluence programmed a custom Drupal module using filter and menu hooks to seamlessly integrate with a separate publications database. The module provides for transparent single sign-on with a seamless end user experience.
• For Peace Action, Confluence designed and implemented a brand new website in Drupal. We also created a customized CRM and fundraising system using the CiviCRM module of Drupal (site coming live in August 2010; see design in website portfolio
