- Upgrading an existing website CMS to a newer version, We inventory the site, taking careful note of all customizations and extensions, and provide a not-to-exceed estimate
- Integrating a CMS with another application, providing single sign-on - for a membership management system, a shopping cart, or any other program requiring its own login
- Extending a CMS by adding new modules or extensions, for example, online payment, donation or other forms, event registration capabilities and social networking integration
WordPress
Confluence works with WordPress as the preferred Content Management System (CMS) in a variety of difference scenarios, for example:
- The website already is implemented in WordPress – it rarely makes sense to move a site once it has been (well) implemented in any given CMS
- The site is mostly or completely a blog
- The site is very small, with highly non-technical users responsible for updating it
Drupal
Confluence provides expert assistance in the creation of websites using the open source Content Management System, Drupal. From our perspective, the decision of whether to use Joomla! or Drupal depends on a variety of factors, such as:
- Expertise of the implementation partner
- Existing familiarity with one system or another
- Specific functional requirements
- Other systems that the CMS needs to integrate with
- Whether the website is already implemented in Drupal or not -- it rarely makes sense to move from one system to another if a big investment has already been made in one
