State Profiles: For CCSSO, Confluence implemented a custom database and web application to support the increasingly advanced reporting needs of its Standards, Assessment & Accountability initiative. Implemented using PHP with Microsoft SQL server backend database.

National Teacher of the Year: In this project, Confluence took 50 years of Teacher of the Year state nomination data in which each year was separately stored and integrated all 50 years of data into a single table in an Access database. Designed and implemented a custom Access interface to allow for easy viewing and searching of any year's data by CCSSO staff. Integrated with Microsoft SQL Server database for web-based searching and display of Teacher of the Year information.

For Peace Action, we implemented a custom design as a Drupal theme and built in numerous dynamic functionalities, including custom-tailored landing pages which retrieve feeds from other areas of the website as well as external sources. The design has also been modified to work as a Salsa web template, which allows users to switch between Drupal and Salsa pages without ever knowing the difference.

The Visitors' Service Center helps prisoners while they are incarcerated and newly released to create, maintain and strengthen family and community ties so they are better prepared for successful transition back into the community in Washington DC. All Confluence staff who have had the opportunity to support VSC have been touched by the powerful impact of such a small nonprofit. Over the years, we provide all the desktop and server support. We also modified an existing Microsoft Access database to help the organization track clients and client services, and designed and implemented a Microsoft SharePoint extranet site to support the work of the Board of Directors.

For staff that must collaborate but work across the country and travel often, SharePoint offers a centralized, easy-to-use and easy-to-access web space for files, discussions, announcements, contact information and more.

We designed and implemented a web-based display of data collected by the Lodestar Foundation to support the Collaboration Prize. This included a searchable full-text indexed MySQL database with custom PHP programming to house applicant data.

For ASTHO, we implemented a highly scalable and searchable full-text indexed Microsoft SQL Server database to house the data collected from their annual survey of all state health organizations. The project included custom .NET programming for integration with the Ektron CMS and a dynamic map to help users visually analyze location-oriented data.

For TCP: We purchased and set up a new server at TCP that freed up an older but functional server to be redeployed, and upgraded a dozen computers, cabling the facility and setting up the newly upgraded machines.
